About Me

I offer individual coaching and lead group workshops that integrate Buddhist meditation with Western psychology. My approach is collaborative and personalized. I believe the people I work with already carry the wisdom and healing potential they need. My role is simply to help facilitate that.

Meditation Training

I've practiced meditation from various traditions for the past 20 years, mostly focused in the Tibetan tradition. I've spent time at monasteries in Nepal, Thailand, and Bhutan and completed about 8 months of intensive retreat. For a decade before his passing I studied Mahamudra and Dzogchen with Dr. Daniel P. Brown of Harvard Medical School. My exposure to numerous traditions, communities, and teachers has taught me a wide range of approaches to meditation which allows me to personalize my work with each client.

Clinical Training

I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology and completed a clinical internship focused on addiction. I've received additional training in IFS, attachment theory, ACT, peak performance, and numerous other modalities. For the past 10 years the majority of my work has been in psychoeducation, primarily delivering mental health programs in the corporate world through my company Healbright. I've also taught workshops to graduate students, HR leaders, and led group therapy programs.

Professional Experience

I'm the founder and CEO of Healbright, a workplace mental wellness platform that has served over 600,000 people across hundreds of organizations over the last 11 years. My experience at Healbright has included product development, B2B sales, and launching and delivering mental wellness programs to diverse populations. This experience has taught me how to make meditation practices and therapeutic interventions accessible and stigma free to people from various backgrounds.
